superseventies: Have it your way at Burger King, 1976 advertisement. My elementary school principal used to lecture the student body by saying “This ain’t like Burger King, you can’t have it your way.” Sometime in the 90s the younger sister of a friend told me “Mr. Reid always says that thing about Burger King, but no one knows what it means.” See, he kept saying it for 15 years, and by then the ad campaign was so old none of his students was alive at the time.
